Resource Problem

Greetings community, I found a problem when I am farming a resource, be it stone or wood, on the third or fourth resource it disappears with the first hit regardless of how much hp durability it has.

 

 

I also have a question, how to place item protection that the resource drops, I mean if someone is cutting down a tree and if a player is next to it, can I prevent him from stealing it?

Never came across that before, are the resources on the same map?
