gaveitatry
I am looking for an inexpensive Karaoke program that will run on my Acer Aspire laptop. One that has a vast library of songs. I found a good Karaoke app called Sing! by Smule, but I don't like using apps or mobile devices. I know that Android emulators would let me access Sing! by Smule on my laptop, but I don't want to use an emulator. «ace»
Hello,  I don't know if your laptop can run it but I have always used Ultrastar Deluxe for karaoke:  http://ultrastardx.sourceforge.net/  Also for songs it uses text files which you can get for free here:  http://usdb.animux.de/  Although you need the actual music file as well, it is pretty easy to use though.  Hope this helps, need any more information just let me know. gaveitatry

Phenomenal
@gaveitatry Have you tried https://www.midicokaraoke.com/ ? Also quick question, why do you want a karaoke program?
gaveitatry
@PhenomenalDev  I can't sing at all. I want to learn how to sing. The only way that I can learn is by practicing. If I had a good karaoke program, it might make it easier to practice.  By the way, Midico is for Macs only. My laptop is an Acer Aspire, and it runs Windows 8.1.  @Gibier  That won't work, but thanks anyway.  @«ace»  That looks like a complicated setup, but I will look into it later. Thank you.
