Hello, I would like to know how to modify the .exe as I use a program and if I modify it but when I open the game it is not modified

You'll have to compile your own version and replace the icon bitmap file that's shipped with the client project.

No. Use visual studio and do exactly as @Cheshire said. Change the icon that comes with the source build and then rebuild the source.
