 Eridonis:  Hello my name is Eridonis but you can call me Eri, I am here to talk about Usatsune.
 

The Name: Usatsune is a play on words with japanese words: 
Usagi = Rabbit
Kitsune = Fox.
 

Usatsune is a home away from home for lost spirits, some just looking for a peaceful place to thrive or hangout in. If you notice around town the buildings are inaccessible perhaps the village folk are a bit worrisome of these new people appearing but so far I see none of them as a threat. As the days pass and we see that there is no harm coming from the new inhabitants perhaps the village might warm up to them.

But for now I will keep a close eye on them.

My name is Erik, I am a solo dev of Usatsune working on a DnD type game that was recently brought into a mini RPG. Development maybe slow however I will try and make ends meet.

As the above states, the game is still a Work In Progress however the game will still be pulling events to fill all the pieces of the map. As of right now there are no mobs and only two bosses in which you can fight currently and two PvP arenas. In addition with seasonal events that happen along the year like Easter, Valentines etc. As of now, you can collect all the limited items that will be released during these events till the actual full release. 

Everything will be open source, however credit the original creators of assets used to make Usatsune possible:

 Sumire: Greetings, my wondering soul...... I am Sumire...... In honor of our meeting let me tell you a story prepared just for your arrival.......

Ages ago, before our encounter here today, lived a God who created all and was surprised by naught one thing... He held no interest in the livelihoods of those whom he created... With nothing to cherish and no emotional investments, his creations became experiments... He stirred up wars and battles galore for the sake of his amusement... Thus he was sealed away for his callousness.... Within this spiritual land lives the four races divided.... Humia the Human Spirit... Demia the Animal Spirit.... Angelia the Angelic Spirit... and Demonia the Demon Spirit..... They live peacefully, unaware that the great seal guarding them has severely weakened.... A rift has formed separating their reality and that of our own awareness... Unbeknownst as to why, those spirits are emerging into this world...

 

You dear traveler are one of these spirits.....
Perhaps a descendant of the Creator....
Perhaps just a wanderer seeking entertainment...
Maybe you will tell me your tale when next we meet...
For now, I shall return to my place amongst the rift....
You however, will start writing your odyssey...

Yuuki: Sup. Yuuki here, and are the classes and available abilities for them.

 

Assassin

 

Pursuit - Enemy running away? catch up to him/her with this spell. It increases movement speed temporarily.
Shadow Step - Enemy still running away? Dash toward your opponent with this spell or run it's up to you.
Vanish - Confuse your Non-NPC opponents with vanish. Houdini the F out of danger.
Assassinate - Takes time to cast but very effective on a player who is not paying attention.

 

Warrior

 

Counter - Eat damage and yeet a powerful counter attack back.
Endurance - Just pretend your a tank with extra metal plating's for protection. Reduces damages by half. 
Swap - Remember the last ability? It will be ignored, however you do get a 30% attack boost.
Iron Will - Support your friends with defense cause why not.

 

Mage

 

 

Barrier - Take on any incoming damage with this, you can also support your friends as well.
Calamity - Sacrifices 99 HP to deal a wide AoE 100 Damage, if you are a mage with lots of HP. Go HAM. 
Flame Burst - Watch them burn pretty much, unless you miss somehow.
Spirit Transformation - An AoE that turns everyone into spirits temporarily. Reduces movement speed tenfold.

Unless I'm mistaken there aren't any mixing of tilesets, they're using the TF base and TF Japan Expansion.

Yes both tile sets are from the Time Fantasy. Just difference between a Base Building and a Japanese building. (Unless I paint all the roof tiles black maybe look a bit better?)

Well if they aren't mixed that's a shoddy tiletset.. because that rock and the trees look way different

Which trees the pink ones of the green ones. Because the Rock came with the JP trees lol.

Character Information:


Kaori and Rina, both abandoned by the church and branded curse children. Nearly stoned and beat to death by the villagers, Eridonis appeared and saved them from death. Eri showed them how to make use of their power and get revenge on the church that exiled them. After murdering the church, the two both joined the Assassin Corp. to follow Eri. The two are responsible for the clearances of all churches. This which granted them the Sin of Heresy.

Abilities:
Oracle Judgement:  - Active: Giant holy magic that falls from the sky and deals heavy damage.
Castling: - Active: When the other is heavily damaged, the other sister swaps in to fight, and the other casts ranged holy magic.
Syphon:  - Active: Puts all opponents abilities on cooldown.
Blessing of the Oracle:  - Passive: Whenever a status effect is applied on them, they recover by 500 HP.

Only those of the Assassin Corp. have rough backgrounds. Other then that the rest of the NPCs stories are not that harsh lol.

Eridonis - Entire rabbit race murdered by Humia(Humans) One of three survivors. Eri's hatred towards every living being. Creating a group of murderers called Assassin Corp.
Princess Yume -  Not originally a Demia(Animal Spirit) she used to be a Humia/Demonia(Demon Race) and was under the care of Eridonis after the Corp disbanded. She was brutally murdered on a raid against the Eastern Empire.
- Reason for Raid: The Emperor of the East, assassinated her Father and destroyed her kingdom.
- How is she still alive till this day?: Reincarnation with a her latest teachers help.

We celebrate the grand opening of the bathhouse. Also the release of the Assassin Corp. Bishop Yuuki. 

- New Void Weapons.


- Bath towels for your bathing needs, with Syo and Otame as the owners of the bathhouse taking care of your healing needs.




- Death Screen, with random messages.



- Usable item drops from all bosses are dropped at 50%
- Lots of death screens because of Yuuki.

I hear ya!  Even after I came up with a (relatively) fast method to pump out 2d assets, the sheer volume or items to add and index and keep track of becomes overwhelming.  I popped into your Discord so I can keep an eye out for any tests.  When I saw your idea, I'll be honest, it was one of those moments where you kinda get jealous that you didn't think of it first.
