Ambard
Decided this needed its own post. Â Â Just figured out how to make and use mini-maps in the Intersect game engine! This is so exciting. I hope this video helps some of you out. No coding required! Â Â hra, Gibier, Vus and 11 others 13
Giligis
This is awesome. I've never seen anything like this done before with no coding. Didn't delve too deep into how you did it, but I'm very impressed at how it works. This will prove very useful to others. Thank you @Ambard!! Zetasis
Hmm. I would have never thought of doing this myself. Interesting for sure but how would a day and night system affect it? Might have to try this myself and see what all it can and can't do. Nice tutorial and thanks for the share. Ambard
Henry
Very nice Ambard. I always knew you were able to bend engines to maximize their potential As you are obviously aware, there is a huge amount of potential in the Intersect event system which when used properly can allow for amazing things, such as utilizing the global events creatively to inspire player interaction ect. I look forward to more of your youtube videos  Ambard

Henry
Mixing switches, variables, global events, and item-use event triggers .... there has to be some "engine bending magic" in there for sure
Kibbelz
Very interesting but that will add up to a LOT of images long term. Coding a minimap system would be much better I feel. Ambard

However, there are some people out there who just want to make a game without coding and this is a great way to do that. What I did is just a neat way of showing how Intersect is powerful and fun enough to appeal to a wide variety of game developers no matter what there level of expertise may be. kitru
Image is compressing when change the resolution. No way to play in 1920x1080 with map in 800x600. Then I tryed to make Full HD image but you can't see it at others resolutions. So idea is good, but looks like it doesn't work anymore
